青岛大学国际暑期课程班项目
招生简章
青岛大学国际暑期课程班（以下简称青大暑期课程班）成立于2010年，是在青岛大学“国际化办学方向”号召下所建立的国际教育项目，现已成功开办十年。2021年青岛大学国际暑期课程班继续面向校内外招生。

二、招生条件及报名对象
1.招生对象：高中及以上学历的国内外学生均可报名申请。
2.语言要求：托福80分/雅思6分，大学英语四级550分，大学英语六级520分或其他同等语言能力
3.每班招生50人，依报名顺序择优录取
三、授课时间及课程设置
2021年，为满足学生需求青大国际课程班将开设两个课程项目：寒假课程班和暑假课程班。寒假线上课程班开学时间为2021年12月14日至2021年1月15日，共开设13门课程。暑假课程班开设两期课程，线上课程开学时间为2021年5月31日至2021年7月2日，线下课程开学时间为2021年6月14日至2021年7月16日。线上共开设35门课程，线下共开设20门课程。两期课程均综合涵盖经济、商科、社会科学、人文科学、数学、计算机等科目。所有科目既是本校相关专业教学计划内课程，又与海外大学课程有所对应。每门课程每日授课2小时15分钟，每周授课6天（周五、周六为讨论课及复习课）。课程授课语言均为英文，教材为国际本科学分课程通用标准教材。
四、选课要求及相关费用
1. 为保证最佳学习体验，每生最多选择3门课程；
2. 青岛大学本校学生参加国际暑期课程班课程免收学杂费用。
五、报名流程及截止日期
1. 下载附件一“青岛大学国际暑期课程班课程申请表”；
2. 冬季项目2020年11月15日前将申请表填写完整后扫描发送至暑校报名邮箱 iss@qdu.edu.cn；夏季项目2021年5月3日前将申请表填写完整后扫描发送至暑校报名邮箱 iss@qdu.edu.cn；
3. 等候通知安排口语面试（英语专业8级或同等水平免试）；
4. 被录取学生将在口语测试完成后的5个工作日内收到电子录取通知信；
5. 寒假课程报到时间：2020年12月13日
暑假线上课程报到时间：2021年5月30日
暑假线下课程报到时间：2021年6月13日
6. 寒假课程上课时间：2020年12月13日

Qingdao University International Summer Session Program Enrollment Brochure
Qingdao University International Summer Session (hereinafter referred to as QUISS) was established in 2010. It is an international short-term academic program established under Qingdao University’s “International Education” Initiative. The program has run successfully for 10 years. In 2021, we will continue to offer high-quality courses for students from Qingdao University and students from other universities.

2. Eligibility
1. High school graduates and above can apply for the program.
2. Minimum English language proficiency: TOEFL 80/ IELTS 6, CET-4 550, CET-6 520 or other equivalent language proficiency (TEM-8 or students who currently study in an English-speaking country).
3. Maximum enrollment: 50 students per class; Qualified applicants will be chosen according to the order of the enrollment.
3. Course Arrangements
In order to meet the increasing needs of students, the 2021 QUISS will offer both winter session and summer session. The winter online session starts from December 14th, 2020 to January 15th, 2021, and a total number of 16 courses are offered. The summer online session starts from May 31st, 2021 to July 2nd, 2021, and a total number of 35 courses are offered. The summer offline session starts from June 14th, 2021 to July 16th, 2021, and a total number of 20 courses are offered. All courses are carefully selected from Qingdao University course catalog to include a wide range of disciplines, covering Business, Economics, Mathematics, Natural Science, Social Science, Humanities, Computer Science, etc. A 2 hour and 15 minutes lecture will be offered every day from Monday to Thursday, and a 1-hour discussion and a 1-hour review session will be offered on Friday and Saturday. The teaching language is English except for language courses and the teaching materials are standard textbooks in accordance with international undergraduate credit courses.
Enrollment Restrictions
1. One student can choose no more than 3 courses in the session, to guarantee a better learning experience.
2. Qingdao University students attending the session will enjoy a tuition waiver.
5. How to Apply
1. Download Appendix 1 “Qingdao University International Summer Session Course Application Form”;
2. For winter session, please complete the application form, scan the electronic version and send it to the email iss@qdu.edu.cn before November 15th, 2020. For summer program, please complete the application form, scan the electronic version and send it to the email iss@qdu.edu.cn before May 3rd, 2021;
3. Language test information will be sent to applicants (applicants who pass TEM-8 or who currently study in an English-speaking country can be exempted from the language test);
4. A letter of admission will be sent to applicants within 5 working days after the language test if applicants pass the test.
