青岛大学国际夏季/冬季课程班项目

招生简章

青岛大学国际夏季/冬季课程班（以下简称青大国际课程班）成立于2010年，是在青岛大学“国际化办学方向”号召下所建立的国际教育项目，现已成功开办12年。2023青岛大学国际夏季/冬季课程班继续面向校内外招生。

二、招生条件及报名对象

1.招生对象：高中及以上学历的国内外学生均可报名申请。

2.语言要求：托福80分/雅思6分，大学英语四级550分，大学英语六级520分或其他同等语言能力

3.每班招生50人，依报名顺序择优录取

三、授课时间及课程设置

2023年，为满足学生需求青大国际课程班将开设两个课程项目：寒假课程班和暑假课程班。寒假课程班开学时间为2022年12月19日至2023年01月20日，共开设9门课程。暑假课程班开学时间为2023年06月12日至2023年07月14日，共开设41门课程。两期课程均综合涵盖经济、商科、社会科学、人文科学、数学等科目。所有科目既是本校相关专业教学计划内课程，又与海外大学课程有所对应。4学分课程每门课程周一至周四每日授课2小时15分钟，周五、周六为讨论课及复习课；6学分课程周一至周五每日授课2小时50分钟，周六、周日为讨论课及复习课）。课程授课语言均为英文，教材为国际本科学分课程通用标准教材。（课程设置见附件一）

四、选课要求及相关费用

1.为保证最佳学习体验，每生最多选择3门课程；

2.青岛大学本校学生参加国际暑期课程班课程免收学杂费用。

五、报名流程及截止日期

1.下载附件二“青岛大学国际夏季/冬季课程班课程申请表”；

2.冬季课程2022年12月12日前；夏季课程2023年06月05日前将申请表填写完整后扫描发送至暑校报名邮箱 iss@qdu.edu.cn；

3.等候通知安排口语面试（英语专业四级或同等水平免试）；

4.被录取学生将在口语测试完成后的5个工作日内收到电子录取通知信；

5.寒假课程报到时间：2022年12月18日

暑假课程报到时间：2023年06月11日

6.寒假课程上课时间：2022年12月19日

暑假课程上课时间：2023年06月12日

 

Qingdao University International Summer/Winter Session Program Enrollment Brochure

Qingdao University International Summer/Winter Session (hereinafter referred to as QDUISS) was established in 2010. It is an international short-term academic program established under Qingdao University’s “International Education” Initiative. The program has run successfully for 12 years. In 2023, we will continue to offer high-quality courses for students from Qingdao University and students from other universities.

2. Eligibility

 1. High school graduates and above can apply for the program.

 2. Minimum English language proficiency: TOEFL 80/ IELTS 6, CET-4 550, CET-6 520 or other equivalent language proficiency (TEM-8 or students who currently study in an English-speaking country).

 3. Maximum enrollment: 50 students per class; Qualified applicants will be chosen according to the order of the enrollment.

3. Course Arrangements

In order to meet the increasing needs of students, the 2023 QDUISS will offer both winter session and summer session. The winter session starts from December 19, 2022 to January 20, 2023, and a total number of 9 courses are offered. The summer session starts from June 12, 2023 to July 14, 2023, and a total number of 41 courses are offered. All courses are carefully selected from Qingdao University course catalog to include a wide range of disciplines, covering Business, Economics, Mathematics, Natural Science, Social Science, Humanities, etc.

4 credits course: A 2-hour and 15 minutes lecture will be offered every day from Monday to Thursday, and a 1-hour discussion and a 1-hour review session will be offered on Friday and Saturday.

6 credits course: A 2 hour and 50 minutes lecture will be offered every day from Monday to Friday, and a 1-hour discussion and a 1-hour review session will be offered on Saturday and Sunday. The teaching language is English except for language courses and the teaching materials are standard textbooks in accordance with international undergraduate credit courses. (Please find the List of Courses in Appendix 1).

4. Enrollment Restrictions

1. One student can choose no more than 3 courses in the session, to guarantee a better learning experience.

2. Qingdao University students attending the session will enjoy a tuition waiver.

5.  How to Apply

1. Download Appendix 2 “Qingdao University International Summer/Winter Session Course Application Form”;

2. Please complete the application form, scan the electronic version and send it to the email iss@qdu.edu.cn to apply for the winter session before December 12, 2022; to apply for the summer session before June 05, 2023;

3. Language test information will be sent to applicants (applicants who pass TEM-4 or who currently study in an English-speaking country can be exempted from the language test);

4. A letter of admission will be sent to applicants within 5 working days after the language test if applicants pass the test.

5. Registration time for winter session: December 18, 2022

Registration time for summer session: June 11, 2023

6. Course start time for winter session: December 19, 2022
